About

Hello! My name is Travis and I'm currently a Fourth Year University Student in the Brock University & Niagara College GAME Program. I spend a lot of my time programming and I'm a big fan of procedural generation and emergent mechanics. I'll be cleaning up this website in a bit, I've got a lot more projects to show from throughout the years. Below are a few of my works.

Current Projects

Unannounced Capstone Project

September 2025 - April 2026, Brock University

My fourth year capstone game project that will be presenting at Level Up 2026 as part of a team of 11. Details pending.

Past Projects

2025

A Bullet in Time

May 2025 - August 2025, Adjective Noun Studios

Worked on as part of an internship for Adjective Noun Studios. Helped build & refactor major systems for the game. Got some good practice in System Design and .NET LINQ.

Missing Pieces

September 2024 - April 2025, The Breakroom Studios

A short clip of a toy frog attacking a bear and stealing its arm to attack it with.

Missing Pieces is an action-adventure game where you play
as a lost toy that must tear the arms off of their enemies to
fight their way out of the land of forgotten toys.
I was the lead programmer on this team, and much of my
work was centred around dynamically swapping arms on
enemies and the player. Built in Unity using C# and presented at Level Up Showcase 2025.

Procedural Trees

March 2025

A spinning tree on a black background. The tree is made up of a couple dozen branches and a few hundred leaves. An overlay in the corner reads '144478 triangles'.

A procedural tree generator built in 3D using DirectX over three days. My first introduction to DirectX 3D.

BrickBreaker DX

March 2025

A series of red and blue blocks in the centre of a cross shaped play area. Four paddles sit between the edges of the screen and the blocks, and two balls bounce at the bottom of the screen.

An Arkanoid Clone written in DirectX. First time attempting game development using DirectX and C++.

Bubble Bandits

January 2025, Global Game Jam

A pixelated train car sits at the bottom of the screen with a small pixelated blue man inside it. A set of 5 cards is spread across the top of the screen.

A deck-building train defense game built in Godot in 46 hours. Worked on this game as a programmer for Global Game Jam.

2024

Zombies!

September - December 2024

A Cylindrical player fires bullets at a series of zombies approaching from the right. The scene takes place in a grey house. The left half of the screen is obscured in black.

A top-down zombie survival game I worked on to practice systems design, pooling, and persistence. Built in Unity using C#

Analysis of Generic Algorithm Hyperparameters in Solving University Timetable Conflicts

December 2024

An IEEE Formatted paper titled 'Analysis of Generic Algorithm Hyperparameters in Solving University Timetable Conflicts'.

A paper I wrote for my Introduction to Artificial Intelligence class. In order to gather the data for the paper, I built a genetic algorithm in C# and evaluated over 900 separate configurations, processing 450k points of data through Excel PowerQuery to reach my findings.

Sliding Tile Solver

October 2024

A debug console window displaying the solved puzzle and the steps taken to reach the solution, alongside the original puzzle and the time taken to solve it.

A C# program to solve sliding tile puzzles using game tree based pathfinding.

Clown 'Em Up

January 2024, Global Game Jam

A drawn clown is in the process of hitting a group of sad blue characters, some of which have turned green and appear stunned. A series of smile faces appear in the top right and a bar labelled 'FUNNY METER' in the top left.

A Clown-based Beat 'Em Up about beating happiness into sad bypassers. Built in Godot in 46 hours as part of Global Game Jam. Unfortunately got sick part way through so the game was never finished, but it was a good introduction to Object Oriented Programming in games.

2023

Circus of Love

October 2023

A close-up of the upper half of a smiling bloodstained rainbow clown. The clowns features are made of solely triangles and circles.

A blend of Five Nights at Freddy's style gameplay with a dating simulator. Programmed in Unity in 14 hours across 2 days for a local game jam.

Downwards Momentum

January - April 2023

A Figure in a grey cowl and purple scarf stands in a smoggy vertical cityscape, a small battery with a percentage sign sits in the top left corner.

A platformer built in a team for one of my classes. Built in Godot, while developing it I learned how to handle input and physics for real time games.

Root of my Heart

January 2023, Global Game Jam

A green figure with long green hair stands in a cave. There is a text box below them that reads, 'As you walk into the cave you can see them staring at the cave wall, intently writing something into a journal. They don't notice you until you're practically next to them.'

A Tree-based Dating sim with a twist. The first game I worked on with a team, learned an entire new language (Python) and engine (Ren'Py) in 3 days for this.
